1. Editorial purpose
Every GlanceM article should have a clear reader-facing purpose. We aim to help people understand a product category, compare realistic alternatives, evaluate trade-offs or make a better-informed purchase decision.
2. Originality and added value
We do not aim to reproduce manufacturer marketing copy or rewrite other websites. A useful GlanceM page should add analysis: for example, explaining how basket dimensions affect cooking, how laptop weight changes portability, or why two similar specifications can lead to different practical experiences.
3. Sources and verification
For factual product details, we prefer authoritative primary sources such as manufacturer specification pages, manuals and support documentation. Reputable independent reviews and testing can be used for real-world context. Secondary sources are treated carefully, particularly when a claim concerns performance, safety, compatibility or a precise measurement.
When sources conflict, we try to identify the disagreement, check the product configuration and avoid presenting uncertain information as settled fact.
4. Comparisons
A comparison should explain more than which specification is larger. We consider the dimensions that actually change the buying decision, such as usable capacity, size, controls, maintenance, compatibility, performance characteristics, ecosystem, warranty and price context.
We avoid treating a single product as universally best. Instead, our comparisons explain which trade-offs may matter for different use cases.
5. Ratings and editorial language
Where GlanceM uses descriptive labels or visual indicators, they should be tied to stated criteria. We avoid implying that an editorial assessment is an objective measurement. Claims about performance should be supported by appropriate evidence.
6. Prices and availability
Prices, discounts, inventory and configurations are dynamic. We may describe a price as a point-in-time reference, but readers should verify the live price and purchase terms before ordering.
7. Updates and product revisions
Product names can remain unchanged while specifications, included accessories, firmware, packaging or regional availability change. When a material revision is identified, we may update the page, add a note or reconsider whether the comparison remains valid.
8. Corrections
Readers can report an error at [email protected]. Please include the exact URL, the statement that appears incorrect and a reliable source. Corrections are evaluated based on evidence, and material factual errors should be corrected as soon as reasonably practical.
9. AI and automation
AI-assisted tools may help with outlining, drafting, classification, formatting or research organization. They are not a substitute for source verification or editorial judgment. Product-specific claims, commercial disclosures and policy text should be reviewed before publication.
We do not intend to publish large volumes of unreviewed, automatically generated product pages simply to increase search traffic.
10. Commercial relationships
GlanceM may earn revenue through advertising, affiliate links or other commercial arrangements. Commercial relationships should be disclosed where appropriate. A commission opportunity does not change the stated product specifications or permit us to knowingly publish false information.
11. Manufacturer and retailer relationships
If a manufacturer, retailer or other commercial party provides information, access or other consideration, relevant material relationships should be disclosed when they could reasonably affect a reader's interpretation of the content.
12. Safety and high-stakes topics
Product research is not a substitute for professional advice. For safety-related instructions, electrical specifications, recalls, medical products or other high-stakes topics, readers should consult the manufacturer's current documentation and qualified professionals or official authorities where appropriate.
13. Contact the editorial team
